Kay Lewis, 78, passed away peacefully on Jan 30, 2021 at Sunrise Senior Living in Cuyahoga Falls. Born in Georgia on April 18, 1942 to the late William & Hortense Wilder. Kay has been a Cuyahoga Falls resident most of her life. She was a graduate of Buchtel High School and received her bachelor's degree from Kent State University. She was a teacher for the Cuyahoga Falls School system most of her career. She was a long-time member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Cuyahoga Falls, where she sang with the choir for many years. She enjoyed cooking food for all the people she loved and spending time with friends and family. She loved music, movies, and spending as much time with her grandkids as possible.
Survived by her children Amy Lewis, and Eric (Ellen) Lewis all of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Joey, Ella, and James; sisters in law Patsy Stover and Cindy (Kurt) Leimeister; nephew Randy (Kathy) Minor; and his son Josh.
The family is planning a private graveside service in the summer.
