Joyce Fletcher

Joyce Renee Fletcher (Harrison) was born on September 23 1938 in Akron Ohio and died on January 14 2008 at Hospice on Ridgewood. She was a lifelong resident of Akron; a graduate of Our Lady of the Elms Elementary School; a graduate of Buchtel High School and attended The University of Akron. Joyce retired from The M. O'Neil Company in the Public Relations Department. She volunteered at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens for The American Lung Association and The American Cancer Society. She was preceded in death by parents Richard and Beatrice Harrison; brother Dick Harrison; sister-in-law Dolly Fletcher and mother and father-in-law Harry and Kate Fletcher. She is survived by loving husband Charles Fletcher brother-in-law Fred Fletcher sister-in-law Maureen (Ed) Russell nieces Robin (Kyle) Migdal and Pam (Todd) Lawyer and families; friends Anita Pleasants and Erin Manley Donna Thompson Judy Castle and numerous other friends. Calling hours will be Thursday January 17 2008 from 4-7 PM at Hummel Funeral Homes 500 E. Exchange St. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Sebastian Church 476 Mull Ave. on Friday Jan. 18 2008 at 10 AM.
