Josephine Voorhees

Josephine Voorhees 87 of Akron died September 19 2007 at The Merriman. She was born in Marion OH in 1920 and was a longtime resident of Worthington. Josephine was known as 'The Wordsmith' at the Merriman where she spent her last three years. Josephine leaves behind four loving children Jolenne (John) Stewart Fenton MI Jan (Frank) Santagata Judson Voorhees Lewis Center OH and Jermaine (Luther) Copley Louisa KY; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
