John Witchey

John C. Witchey passed away on Monday May 24 2004 at Manor Care Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born May 28 1917 and was a lifelong resident of Akron. He wordked for Standard Oil Company for 50 years. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary; his parents his parents Lula and Clarence; and his sister Jean Owens. He is survived by his daughter Linda (Larry)Patterson of Copley his son Michael; grandchilden James (Lea) Gina and Lisa Patterson and Michael; great grandchildren Alexandra Ryen and Halle Patterson; his sister Ruth (Ed) Helsel; brothers Bill (Rusty) and Don Witchey; and Nieces nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Wednesday May 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. (COPLEY) where there will be a funeral service on Thusday at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
