John Brownfield

John (Jack) Charles Brownfield age 74 was born on November 21 1939 and passed away on December 14 2013. Jack graduated from Buchtel High School in Akron and then pursued a career in retail as a buyer for the O'Neil Department Store. His love of golf and the opportunity to open his own retail clothing store took his family to Hilton Head. He returned to Akron in the early 80's and worked in management for Anthe's restaurant. He is survived by his daughters Lisa (Steve) Plowden of Hilton Head South Carolina Lori Brownfield also of Hilton Head South Carolina and Sally Brownfield of Charleston South Carolina; two grandchildren Jesse (age 13) and Cassidy (age 11) Plowden of Hilton Head South Carolina; sister Sally Petrovich of Akron Ohio and brother Tom Brownfield of Spring Hill Florida. He was a good friend to many and will be missed. The family asks that memorial donations be made to Robinson Visiting Nurse and Hospice 6847 North Chestnut St. Ravenna Ohio 44266.
