VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE Copley/Fairlawn: JoAnn Hanna age 61 of Copley passed away April 11 2008 following a long courageous battle with lupus and cancer. She was born September 28 1946 in Akron to the late John and Ruth David. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Roger Lewis and nephew Steve Sanders. JoAnne graduated from Copley High in 1964 and attended Akron University. She became a beautician and worked for Shear Talent in Montrose. JoAnn was not only a homemaker but also did a lot of civic work. She was very talented in making of crafts (Christmas mini trees). She was a loving caring warm hearted person. JoAnn would do anything to help someone in need. She is survived by her husband Paul Hanna of 12 years with whom she loved to travel. Daughter Lisa (Mike Venafro) Kamenar and five grandchildren Jacob Isabella Drew twins Dane and Luke. She adored her grandkids daughter and husband. JoAnn came from a Christian family of six sisters Roberta Sanders Mary (Jerry) Gardner Dorothy Lewis Joyce Smith and her brother John David. Leaving behind nieces and nephews Scott (Laura) Kristan Kelly and Ange Sanders; Stephanie (Steve) Bethany Flight Jason and Jackie Sanders and Jennifer Smith; John Gardner Tim Joey (Andrea) Ayden Lewis John Robert Smith. She also leaves many cousins nephews nieces uncles and aunts. JoAnn you will be greatly missed and we know you are in Heaven which you will be at peace with the Lord Jesus Christ. JoAnn wishes to give thanks to Stewarts Caring Place and Hospice for all the care they gave her. She also wishes to thank her friends Elena Julie Tina Mary Fran Diane and Cindy. Funeral Services Tuesday April 15 2008 at 11:00 AM at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. COPLEY. Burial will be at Copley Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY on Monday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stewarts Caring Place.
