Jerry MacLarren

Jerry F. MacLarren 70 of Sawyerwood died Saturday July 2 2005 at Akron City Hospital. Jerry was a member of the Sawyerwood United Methodist Church. He was retired as a construction supervisor from the John G. Runlin Construction Co. in 1980. He had served as a volunteer fireman on the Springfield Fire Department for 17 years. He had worked for many years for and with the youth in Springfield Township through the then Jr. Improvement League. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Albert & Ethel MacLarren. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Dorothea; daughter Cynthia (Brian) Cullen of Akron OH and son Mark (Mildred) MacLarren of Lake Milton OH; 8 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren sister Deanna Barnes brothers Tom & Robert and numerous nephews & nieces. A memorial Service will be held at 7 pm Friday July 8 at the Sawyerwood United Methodist Church where friends may call for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
