Jean Lobalzo

Born June 14 1944 Jean (Jeannie) passed away peacefully at home on October 26 2007. A graduate of Buchtel High School and the University of Akron Jean taught at St. Sebastian's Catholic School for five years PSR at St. Hilary's Parish for 25 years and sponsored and arranged Christmas stockings for hundreds of teenagers at Summit County Children's Home for over twenty-five years. Jean was also indispensible to the family business and its employees for over 40 years. Jean leaves behind her loving husband of 40 years Mike; daughter Julie LobalzoWright (Tristan); son Michael; father Lou; brother Louis and many extended family and friends. Jean will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her especially those who looked to her as a mentor and surrogate mother. Friends may join us at a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday October 30th 3:00 pm at St. Victor's Catholic Church 3435 Everett Rd Richfield where the family will receive friends at 2:00 pm. Jean has requested in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in her name to any educational based program or institution.
