James Reffner

James Cellis Reffner, 63, went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2024. Born in Akron, Ohio, on September 19, 1960. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (née Morris), son, Scott, sister, Martha Faris, brother, Robert, and in-laws Lisa Reffner, Carol Anthony, and Cynthia and Bill Hartley as well as a loving niece and nephews.

A man's man, 'Jimmy' (as known by his friends) combined rugged determination and deep compassion along with hard-earned wisdom and a love for the Lord. Jim was a member of Grace Church (Bath Campus) and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 18.

Visiting hours will be held at Grace Church, 754 Ghent Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A service will follow at 11:00 AM. Services are in the care of Hummel Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grace Church, Bath Campus.
