VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE'' In loving memory of Jacqueline Ann Bryan October 22 1983-May 24 2005 Jackie's kind creative and independent spirit touched the lives of many people. Blessed with a fun sense of humor a natural athletic ability and intelligence; she connected well with others. Her humor caring nature and courage endeared her to all who knew her. She was confident and comfortable with herself really not afraid of anything. A devoted family member she helped take care of her younger brothers and sisters by cooking meals by driving them places and by just being someone they could talk to. The siblings always felt that she never judged them. She was particularly close to her sister Jane who she attended classes with at the University of Akron. Jackie was an athlete an artist a bit of a clown and an outdoors person. She starred in basketball at St. Vincent- St. Mary H.S. She played guitar wrote songs and was an excellent poet. She enjoyed playing cards and dancing on floors and sometimes tables. She could do hilarious British accent imitations and loved the gameshow network. Most of all she loved the Seinfield show even having the character George on her voice mail. She also loved swimming at Eastwood pool. Jackie had completed three years of college at the University of Akron where she majored in anthropology. She had impressed her professors with her intelligence writing ability and social justice ideals. She had planned to pursue a masters and doctoral degrees and hoped to teach at the college level. Love of family and friends was part of Jackie. She also had a love of her life Justin Crutchley; the two had planned to marry. Jackie brought a presence into the world that was kind and creative. She planned a professional life that would have contributed to making the world a little more based on truth and justice. Her friends and family hope that all who loved her will remember her by working towards those goals also. She will be always loved and missed by her parents John and Maryellen Bryan; sisters Jane Nora Hayley; brothers Andrew and Timothy. She will also be missed by grandmother Ann Rauh aunts and uncles Joseph Susan James Valorie and John Rauh Suzanne and Brian Murphy Jeff Jerry and Kim Bryan Janelle and Jack Boatman; cousins Ted Tom Ursula Laura Ellie Michael and Josie Rauh Kyle and Kellie Bryan and John and Judy Boatman. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday May 28 2005 10 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church 164 W. Market Street. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call the Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street on Friday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Battered Women's Shelter 759 W.
