VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE Iona Faye (Bleuer) Rochford 'Faye' Copley OH beloved mother mother-in-law sister-in-law and grandmother passed away December 14 2007 just 1 day before her 79th birthday. She was a resident of the Dublin Retirement Village in Dublin OH for 9 years where she was known as the 'Angel of the Village' because she often assisted the residents. She now lives on in the hearts and lives of those she loved and of those who love her. Faye was born on December 15 1928 in Akron OH. She was raised in New Martinsville WV and then returned to Akron for high school where she met her husband Matthew a City of Akron fireman who passed away in 1987. Faye is survived by her four children seven grandchildren and many friends. Her children are son J. Jeffrey (Victoria) and grandchildren Alexandra and Nicholas of Orlando FL; daughter Karen English (William) of Dublin OH; son James (Karen) and grandchildren Brianne and Matthew of Tecumseh MI; and son Joseph (Gigi and Tamara) and grandchildren Jessica Michael and Matthew of Lincolnton and Huntersville NC. Faye was devoted to her grandchildren traveling to their performances and making them homemade candy. For Faye the art of letter-writing was alive and well and her weekly notes and e-mails will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday December 20 2007 11 AM at St. Hilary Church 2750 W. Market St. The family will receive friends at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Burial of ashes in Copley Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
