William Kohl

William Kohl passed away on July 6, 2025. He was the son of Harry and Dorothy Kowalski; loving brother of Bruce (Diana), Dennis (Teresa), Donald (Deceased), Suzanne Leffew (David) and Kathy Falk (Chuck), beloved uncle, great uncle, and great, great uncle.
He was the owner of William Kohl Hair Salon in Fairlawn. William was an avid outdoorsman and an animal lover including his dogs, horses, and exotic birds.

After leaving the Akron area in 2001, William explored the western outdoors often spending hours in a "tree- blind" waiting for his antlers friends. He lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He built a home in the mountains of Williams, Arizona where he worked for the Rocky Mountain Park Service. He ended his western adventures in Southwest Texas returning to Medina in 2021.

There will be a funeral Mass on Saturday, July 12 at St Hilary Church at 10:00am, followed by a private family internment.
