Harold Dallinga

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTEHarold Dallinga 79 passed away after a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer on Monday June 8 2009 at the Copley Hospice Care Center. A lifelong resident of the Copley and Bath area Harold was a graduate of Copley High School. He served in the US Army and was a lifelong member of Copley United Methodist Church. He worked at Ferriot Brothers for 43 years the last 12 years as the Quality Assurance Dept. Manager. Preceded in death by his daughter Leigh (Frank) Tomaro he is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Gloria Dallinga; and his devoted children Scott (Beth) Dallinga and Cyndy (Dale) Bohannon. He was a loving and proud grandfather to Lucas and Kimberly Bohannon Max Dallinga and Francesca Tomaro. A Funeral Service will be held on June 11 2009 at 10:30 AM at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd Copley with Rev. Becki Verbridge officiating. Interment in Moores Chapel where the American Legion Copley Post No. 473 and Copley VFW Post No. 7971 will provide Military Honors. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. Memorials may be made to Copley United Methodist Church.
