VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Grover Clark 90 of Akron died November 30 2007. He was born on September 20 1917 in Conway Missouri. Grover was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Helen Talbot Clark and their sons Jeffery Wood Clark Thomas Edward Clark and Grover (Skippy) Clarence Clark Jr. He is survived by his son John (Sandy) Clark daughter Nancy (Michael) Ahern; grandchildren Lindsay (Nathan) Snyder; John Talbot Clark Jr. Michael Jeffrey Ahern Ellen Clark Ahern and Preston Young Clark; and great-grandchildren Ryan Taylor Snyder Ella Marie Snyder and Lola Catherine Snyder. The oldest of three sons Grover attended high school in Trenton MO played Junior College basketball and earned a BBA from the University of Missouri Columbia. As a US Army 2nd Lieutenant during World War II he attended graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. His successful career included Marketing and Sales Management at BF Goodrich and Marketing Director for Monsanto Textiles. Grover was a native of Akron for over 60 years. He was a member of Portage Country Club where he enjoyed golf and many life-long friends. Grover will always be remembered by family and friends as a true gentleman - a man of integrity and kindness. Funeral Services Tuesday December 4 2007 at 10:00 AM at Northampton United Methodist Church 852 West Bath Road Cuyahoga Falls Ohio 44223. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dave Scavuzzo officiating. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. on Monday from 4-7 PM.
