Goldie Stoller, age 84, passed away at home Monday, May 12, 2025. Goldie was born in Lovell, Wyoming, and raised in Greybull, Wyoming, at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains, where she attended and graduated from Greybull High School. After meeting and marrying her husband, Dave, the two moved back to his hometown in Ohio.
She was active in Copley United Methodist Church as well as being an active member of the Friends of Children's Hospital in Akron. She served in many capacities for the charity, including Chair of the their annual fundraiser.
She enjoyed teaching ceramics, golfing and traveling. She organized bus trips to many locations, including road games for her beloved Cleveland Indians.
Goldie is preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Jacob Marcus of Wyoming. She is also preceded by her husband Dave. She is survived by her two sons, Dan and wife Staci of Houston, Texas, and Mike and wife Melissa of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and by her granddaughter, Emily and husband Kevin Beltran, and her great granddaughter Kaya. Also her sister Sherry Sack and husband Ken of Yuma, Arizona, and her sister Linda Evans of Cody, Wyoming; her brother-in-law John Stoller and wife Linda of Wadsworth, Ohio.
A family celebration will be held later this year in Wyoming.
Goldie has been cremated at her request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Akron Children's Hospital 1 Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308.
