VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE Gertrude Clarke Comunale died at home February 9th 2008. She was born October 23 1916 to Gertrude and John Clarke in Ashtabula Ohio. Gertrude was the wife of the late Frank Comunale and the mother of Frank Michele Stephen (Jane) Martha David (Sue) Milissa (Marco) Meyo Monica (Greg) Stevens Mark (Kelly) Comunale and Son-in-law law Jeff Klein and sister Teresa Slinger. Preceded in death by her daughter Amy Klein. Her grandchildren filled her life with joy Amanda John Elliott Molly Sarah Mark & Annabelle Comunale Martha Mary Frank Anthony & Katherine Meyo Emma and Julia Klein and preceded in death by her oldest grandson Stephen Armie Comunale Jr. Gertrude was a woman ahead of her time. Her interests family & friends filled her life. She loved flowers nature travel history reading gardening and art. Gertrude believed flowers are for the living. Every seed she touched blossomed and thrived. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Stephen A Comunale Jr. Family Cancer Foundation P. O. Box 13805 Akron OH 44333 and the Interval Brotherhood Home 3445 S. Main St. Akron OH 44319. Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday February 13 2008 at 11:00 AM at St Sebastian Church. Private Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. No visitation.
