Monday Morning March 4th Geraldine Conlon 91 surrounded by her family entered heaven and was welcomed into the arms of her mother father brother husband Tom and best friend Marge. Geraldine was born in Emeigh PA to Glen and Anna Harvey on February 7 1922. Moving to Akron Geri was an active member of her community; volunteering for Red Cross Copley Kiwanis Copley Little Theatre and Stan Hywet Hall. She was also one of the founding members of Guardian Angels Church in Copley. Geri had a long career in office management and in later years was a realtor. She married Thomas Conlon in 1949 and lived in the Copley-Fairlawn area most of their lives. Geri's passions in life included boating weekends at the cottage and red convertibles. She was a resilient person who truly walked against the wind in difficult times and was a devoted mother friend and grandmother. She was a high energy person that was more interested in shopping and lunch gossip with her granddaughters than baking cookies. She valued being a teacher of life and the go-to person for clear advice. Her hearty laugh will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her. Geraldine will be missed by her sons John Conlon (Terri) and Pat Conlon (Becky Gallimore) as well as by her granddaughters Robin Harmon (Chris) Emily and Allison Conlon; 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday March 9:30 AM at St. Hilary Church 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn OH. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron OH.
