Tony Petit, 71, of Wadsworth, was called home on January 22, 2021, while surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 12, 1949 to George and Mary Jane Petit of Doylestown. He was a proud graduate of Chippewa HS ‘67.
He had a rewarding career as a part owner/technician with Dales Color TV & Appliance in Bath for 37 years.
He will be remembered for his tireless work ethic, hearty laugh, bag of Blow Pop suckers, chocolate chip cookies, kind heart, patriotism, Cleveland pro sports fandom and portraying the best Santa Clause. He enjoyed spending time with family and supporting their many activities.
He will be missed dearly by many, especially his wife Alice (O’Brien) of 48 years; his daughter Nicole (Bob) Schroeder; son Phillip (Melissa) Petit and grandchildren Allison, Alex, Skylar, and Mason; Brothers Peter, Jim & Chuck; sister Celena (Provenzale) and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He will be reunited in heaven with his parents and siblings Agnes (Monbarren), Rita (Pierce), Mary (Williams), John Petit and Jerry Petit; nephew Andrew Petit and in-laws Ed and Ruth O’Brien.
