Gayle Ann Tetreault, age 72, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2021. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Daniel and Ruth (Ford) Olszewski.
Gayle was preceded in death by her grandparents, John, Anna Olszewski; William, Susie Ford; Gayle is survived by her siblings, Danielle Finch (Tom Wigand), Marilyn (Charles) Nichols, John (Sally) Olszewski; Nephews, John Charles (Joelle), Daniel (Amber), Matthew; Niece, Amanda; Great Niece, Addison; and many other family and friends
She graduated from Kent State University with a BS in Education and Case Western Reserve University with a Master's in Library Science. She was a teacher in the Cleveland school system for a time and a librarian for 36 years in the Cleveland Public Library System, until she retired. Gayle had a big heart and lifelong love of animals. She owned, fostered and rescued many over the years. She was an excellent cook providing generous gourmet contributions to family and friends dinners. She had a strong spiritual connection and magical imagination with an innate ability for sensing one's soul and delighting family members with witty mystical names. She will be dearly missed by all.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Road, Copley, OH 44321. A Celebration of Gayle's Life will begin at 7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
