Fred Long

Fred S. Long age 70 of Lake Dallas Texas passed away October 6 2005 after a brief illness. A graduate of Medina High School he resided for many years in Copley served nine years on the volunteer fire department and retired from B.F. Goodrich Company. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Frances Long and his brother Garrison Long. Survived by wife Peggy Long of Lake Dallas TX; daughters Victoria (Augustine) Standard of Akron Sylvia (Mark) Stansell of Hilliard Sandy (Bud) Hartman of Bath Carrie Merlino of Texas; eleven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Friends and family may call at the Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. on Saturday October 15 2005 from 3-4 pm. A remembrance service will follow at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or your local fire department.
