FRANK P. KAISER, age 87, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. Frank was born on April 22, 1935 in Akron, Ohio. Frank is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda, and their children Frank (Ruth), Pete (Tanya), Sonia (Bruce), Chris (David), Jennifer (Reid) and Mark (Kelly). Frank is survived by his "baby" sister Barb Aman, 11 grandchildren, 8 great children and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was a great husband and partner to Linda. He was always supportive of her passion for music and would often contribute by volunteering his time when attending her concerts. He would often ask her how many different ways can you sing a mass. And Linda did the same for Frank being by his side during car shows, swap meets and car museum visits.
Frank was a member of the Kaiser-Frazer car club and owned many Kaisers along the way. During his spare time, Frank could be found in his garage restoring his antique cars. Frank also liked racing cars at Barberton Speedway and watching NASCAR racing.
Frank as self-made man, owning his own business since the age of 18. He owned many gas stations over his lifetime and developed life long friendships with customers and employees. He was a Loyal Oak business man who beautified Downtown Loyal Oak and you could find him on his one day off a week improving the look of his business.
Frank was involved in the Norton's Lions Club and was one of the founding members of the Norton Cider Festival. He would spend his weekends pressing and selling cider to the community. Frank also served as Commodore of the Goodyear Boat and Yacht club for many years, hosting pancake breakfasts including work with the Kiwanis on the Portage Lake's Pirate Days. Frank owned several boats over his lifetime and would spend weekends on his pontoon boat just relaxing or taking family/friends for rides. Frank also worked in his community playing Santa at the Barberton Christmas Walk and was featured in the Akron Beacon Journal for his handmade Christmas displays.
Frank loved to travel with trips to Hawaii, Bahamas, Jamaica, and Mexico which was his very favorite destination. He also traveled quite a lot in the US going to historic places and learning everything he can about each place. He believed there is a lot to see in the US and so many things to be discovered. Frank and Linda went everywhere together.
Frank's smile, quick laugher and humor will be truly missed by all that love him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the JUSTIN ROGERS HOSPICE CARE CENTER, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
