Frances Burton

Frances A. Burton 94 of Akron died March 5 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert F. Burton. Fran is survived by her daughter Barbara Edwards; son John (Diane) Burton; grandchildren Charlie and David (Jennifer) Edwards Alex and Austin Burton; great grandson Sebastian Edwards; sister Norma Buckley; brother Willard (Judy) Becker; and many nieces and nephews. Fran was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church she had been a member of the Stitchery Guild at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. She enjoyed quilting flowers traveling and butterflies. Fran always made sure that others came first. She had a true servant's heart. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday March 9 2009 at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Road. Entombment in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 PM.
