Emilie Mesenburg

Emilie Rose Mesenburg, age 82, passed away on November 14, 2023. She was born on June 9, 1941 in Sandusky to the late Leroy and Helen Mesenburg. She graduated from Notre Dame College in Cleveland with her bachelors degree and then earned her masters degree from the University of Akron. Emilie taught for 33 years as a math teacher and guidance counselor in the Barberton School District.

Preceded in death by her sister, Pat Killingsworth and brother, Lee Mesenburg; she is survived by her son, Todd Mesenburg;grandchildren, Lindsay Mesenburg and Alex Mesenburg and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Tuesday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave. Akron, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
