VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE Elizabeth 'Liz' Genovese 91 died peacefully on Sunday April 15 2007 at Pebble Creek Convalescent Center. She was born in Akron on April 8 1916 to Thomas and Klara Somody. For more than fifty years she was married to Joseph Genovese who preceded her in death on March 7 1993. The majority of Elizabeth's long life was spent in service to others particularly her beloved 'Joe' with whom she is now joyfully reunited and her daughter Marilyn. She was always present to lend a cheerful hand to those that needed it and she was an excellent cook and homemaker. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Anthony Costanzo of Green grandchildren Rosanna (George) Frankovich Mark (Tina) Costanzo Julie (Greg) Archual and Lisa (Mark) Osterhage and ten great-grandchildren. After suffering many months of declining health Elizabeth is now free of infirmity. 'They that hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soar as with eagles' wings; They will run and not grow weary walk and not grow faint.' (Isaiah 40:31) Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday April 20 2007 10 a.m. at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. The family wishes to thank the staff of Pebble Creek particularly Amanda Kathy and Samira for their tender care of Elizabeth.
