Duane Hitchcock

Duane P. Hitchcock I, age 74, passed away on February 7, 2022. He was retired from the Army Reserves. Duane was active in Grace Baptist Church in Akron and Choices Community Outreach Center and a retired member of the ADM Board. He loved his crafts, playing with his turtle and dog. Duane loved watching Cleveland Browns football games with his son-in-law, Wendell and Nascar. He loved fishing before he became ill.
Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents, Patrick and Lois Hitchcock; brother, James Hitchcock, Sr.; he is survived by his daughters, Laura (Wendell) Harris and Danielle Stevenson; son, Duane Hitchcock II; grandsons, Sherman Hill Jr. and Justin Barker; sister, Brenda (Bill) Horvath and sisters-in-law, Chris Kamlosky Hitchcock and Lois Boggs and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
