Donald Wheeler

Michael Wheeler 75 of Akron died January 10 2008 at Hospice Care Center. He attended Kansas State Teacher College and later spent 4 years in the United States Air Force. Mike retired after 33 years from the Akron Beacon Journal. Preceded in death by his brother Robert Wheeler sisters-in-law Eunice Lancaster and Fran McGuire. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Elwood) and their children Mike Wheeler and Cathy (Mark) Stewart; grandchildren Matthew and Amy Stewart; sisters Peggy (David) Kane and Dorothy (Joseph) Sebrey; sisters and brother-in-law Lucille (George) Mamas Joanne (Ed) Beil and Robert Elwood and many neices and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday January 14 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Sebastian Church. Private interment of ashes.
