VIEW PICTURE TRIBUTE Donald E. Spangler 80 of Copley died February 16 2007. Donald joins his parents Mae Spangler (O'Dell) nee Haws Julius Spangler his brother Richard Spangler sister-in-law Loretta Spangler and great-grandson Little Jimmy Soles. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Lola daughter Judy (Vic) DiFino; grandchildren Annette (Jim) Soles Aimee Grogan Jerry (Bev) Dietrick and Don Dietrick; great-grandchildren Kyle Josh Krista Ericka Jake Samantha Courtney Ryan and Cory; great great-grandson Julian; sister Marge (Dal) Flesher; brothers Jerry Spangler and John (Gen) O'Dell and many beloved nieces and nephews. Don enlisted in the military previous to his high school graduation to fight in WWII. Don was stationed in Vienna and France while serving during WWII. He earned and received his high school diploma in 2002 at the age of 75 from Kenmore High School. He was the owner operator of Don's Flooring from 1981 until 2001 when he retired to be the primary caregiver for his wife during her battle with Alzheimer. Don was loved and adored by all who knew him well. He was an avid fisherman boater and camper. Don was happiest when he was working on his boat boating and fishing. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday February 21 2007 at 11:00 AM at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd with Rev. Becki Bowan Verbridge officiating. Interment in Copley Township Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by Copley American Legion Post 473 and Copley VFW Post 7971.
