Heaven gained an angel when Diane Fabrizio Hummel passed away peacefully at her home on May 16, 2023 at the age of 77. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elvia Fabrizio. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Ronald Hummel, her daughter's Denise Banfield and Stephanie Hummel-Morton (Noel), grandchildren Tyler and Hannah Gibson, and her loving sister, Janet (George) McCone.
Diane's greatest achievement in life was her family. They were her pride and joy. She devoted her life to providing a loving home for her husband and daughters. Once her children completed school, Diane went to work at Mill Pond Family Physicians. She spent over 20 years working as a medical billing specialist. Diane was a proud member of St. Anthony's Parish.
Diane loved everyone in her life unconditionally and everyone's needs always came before her own. She was a kind, gentle and patient soul who always had a smile on her face. She never knew a stranger. She was bedridden the last few months of her life, and she never complained during that time. She never wanted anyone to worry about her, even at the end.
Diane was strong in her faith and committed to the Lord. She is rejoicing in Heaven now, reunited with her loving parents.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the entire team from Traditions Health Hospice for their loving care.
