Delores Stanley

Delores Stanley Delores Stanley 84 died peacefully at Summit Villa with her family by her side on August 23 2004. She was born on June 16 1920 in Osceola Mills PA. She was an honorably discharged veteran of the navy. She retired from the Akron public school system and was a graduate of The University of Akron clown college. She also was a devoted member of Annunciation Church where she volunteered for many years. She also volunteered for numerous organizations including but not limited to The American Red Cross and Summa Health Systems. Delores was preceded in death by husband John F. Sr. and sons James H and William. She is survived by sons; John F. (Janet) Stanley Bill daughters; Rosemary (Don) Lewis Anne Miller Caroline (Joesph) Lammlein brother-in-law; Joesph Seiler sister; Claire Mostyn grandchildren; Brian Beth Melissa James Shannon Billy and Erin. She is also survived by seven great grand children and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday August 28 2004 at 11:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church. Friends and family may call one half hour prior to the service. Inurnment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Red Cross or Hospice of VNS 3358 Ridgewood Rd. A special thank-you to Summit Villa and Hospice for all their help and support.
