Dawn Marie Forshey

Dawn M. Forshey. 50, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 14, 2026. She was born on February 17, 1976, and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1995.

Dawn's life lead her to work at Smead's Hallmark, the Cleveland Indians and finally at the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools where she shared her heart with the Special Education Department for over 14 years.

Dawn was a long time Cleveland Indians and Cavalier fan. She enjoyed cross-stitching and crafting.

Her greatest accomplishment was coaching and guiding her son in his bowling career. Dawn was well known and loved in the bowling community.

Dawn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Betty Hook and her father, Gary.

Left to cherish her memory is her son; Jonathan, her mother; Barbara, her sister; Sherri, and many family members and friends.

Visiting hours will be at Hummel Funeral Home, 2800 West Market Street, Akron from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jonathan's 529 plan for his future college education.
