David Corbett, 72, of Akron passed away Sept. 14, 2016. He was born on Aug. 11, 1944. Preceded in death by his parents James and Hilda Corbett; he is survived by his wife of 52 years Billie Jean; son Bill; daughters, Sue Parks and Kathy (Jay) Carpenter; grandchildren Andrew Parks and Grace and Augie Carpenter; sister Janet Eustace of Hendersonville NC, and a host of family and friends. To all who knew him, Dave was a kind, funny and great guy. He will be dearly missed. No services will be held per his wishes
