Daniel A. ObermeyerNovember 16, 1939 - June 18, 2025Dan, Dad, Jiddi... Husband, Father, Grandfather. Dan was deeply loved by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Judith; his daughter, Kara Saliba; and his cherished grandchildren: Noah, Nadine, Zane, and Lucas.Dan proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. His military service was a source of great pride, and he carried the values of service, dedication, and loyalty throughout his life. He was a member of American Legion #473He found great joy in supporting his wife, Judith at Stan Hywet and in all her endeavors. Dan was known for annually delighting children and adults alike as St. Nicholas at church, and he treasured every moment spent with his family, who will forever remember his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. He enjoyed carpentry projects and working in his "shop"He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. Special thanks to Fr. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Cedars, 507 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until the time of service. A private interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.Donations may be made to Our Lady of the Cedars Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
