Dale Pinter

Our loving Father and soon to be Grandfather Dale Edward Pinter 61 passed away Monday November 8th 2010 at his home. Dale was born December 8th 1948 in Akron Ohio and grew up in Northampton Ohio. He was a 1966 graduate of Woodridge High School Peninsula Ohio. After graduating he joined the military and served his country in the Vietnam War as an air traffic controller. After coming home from war he married and had two children Jonathon and Jennifer; he always said they were his greatest accomplishment. He was a giving man and enjoyed doing things for others. He loved politics fishing working in the yard and spending time with his family and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents John and Phyllis Pinter. He is survived by his son Jonathon (Stacey) Pinter; daughter Jennifer Pinter; brothers Ned and David Pinter sisters Kerry (Jim) Pennings and Kristie Middlebrooks and many nieces nephews cousins and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Funeral Services will take place at 12:00 noon on Monday November 15 2010 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St Akron. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to Dale's service from 10:00 - 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
