Christopher Morris

Christopher R. Morris Sr. died unexpectedly at his home in Medina February 5 2007. Born in Akron January 10 1953 and graduated from Hoban High School in 1971. He was President of 1st Flooring and Tile in Akron and was a volunteer for Granger Township Fire & Rescue for many years as well as the Medina County HAZMAT Team. He was a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church and K of C Council 547. He was preceded in death by sister Diane and brother Jeffrey. He is survived by his loving wife Christine (Hogan) of 34 years; sons Christopher Jr (C.R.) and his wife Suzanne of Akron Matthew Michael Andrew and Patrick all of Medina one grandson Mikey Hicks of Brunswick; loving parents Robert and Jeannine of Medina; sisters Bobbie Helus (Jim) of Bath Township Susie DeShon (John) of Suwanee GA and Mary Klatt (Dan) of Clinton OH ; brother Keith (Lori) Morris of Copley OH.; as well as a host of nieces nephews aunts uncles extended relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday February 9 2007 at 9:30 AM at St. Hilary Church 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn OH 44333. Cremation will follow Mass. Private interment of ashes at the convenience of the family in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
