Christine Kincaid

Christine Terese Kincaid (nee Clifford) passed away peacefully after a short illness April 10, 2020 at the age of 50. Christine was born October 9, 1969 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan and was a resident of Akron, Ohio for the past 26 years. She grew up in North Olmsted, Ohio and graduated from Magnificat High School. She attended John Carroll University, University of Dayton, and graduated from Cleveland State University. It was in Dayton where she met her husband of 27 years, Gary D. Kincaid. Christine enjoyed time with her friends and family, family get aways to places like Cook Forest, PA, entertaining at family gatherings and taking credit for her husband’s deviled eggs. Christine was most at home raising her children, Sara and Leighton, and caring for others. She loved babies and young children the most and provided daycare services for many friends and family over the years. She also loved her pets and dog sitting for friends and family. Most recently, she was a caregiver to seniors, working for Senior Helpers in Akron. Christine will always be remembered for her warm, bright smile, her wonderful sense of humor and the love and care she gave to others. Her laugh was infectious and sincere. She volunteered at One of a Kind Pets and Haven of Rest Ministries and was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic church in Akron. Christine is survived by her husband, Gary D. Kincaid, daughter Sara and son, Leighton, her parents Bill and Nancy Clifford of North Olmsted, brothers Patrick (Katy Heinz) of Cincinnati and Kevin (Ann Marie) of University Heights, mother-in-law Lois Kincaid of Grafton and sisters-in-law Beverly Dempsey, Connie Kincaid and Vikki Kincaid, all of Grafton, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and close, special friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. A private burial will be held at a later date.
