Christine Blackburn

Christine Reece Blackburn 74 of Akron died July 27 2005 after a long illness at Windsong Care Center. She was a graduate of Hower Vocational School. Christine was a loving mother and a friend of many. She loved music books and her family. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Wadsworth and Unity Chapel of Light. She is survived by her children Gwen Kraeff Janet Boyd Norman James Butala Wayne Stephan Butala Rebecca Plush; five grandchildren; sisters Isabel Pfahl Louise Tarrant; brother Zane Blackburn. The family would like to thank Windsong Care Center for their exceptional care during her stay. We would also like to thank Harbor Light Hospice for their highest quality of care. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 13 2005 at 1:00 PM at the Unity Chapel of Light 503 Northwest Avenue Tallmadge with Dr. Patricia Haines officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Unity Chapel of Light or St. Marks Episcopal.
