Charles Brunn

Charles W. Brunn 84 of Cuyahoga Falls passed away peacefully February 18 2013 at Traditions at Bath Road surrounded by his family. He was born on March 20 1928 to Walter and Catherine Brunn. Chuck graduated from Wooster High School and served in the Army where he was stationed in Japan. He later attended Wooster College and graduated from John Carroll University in 1953. He worked as a sales manager in the transportation industry and retired from Watkins Motor Lines. Chuck enjoyed playing golf where he was the founding member of the IHM Men's Church Golf League. He enjoyed his many trips to Myrtle Beach Las Vegas and Frankenmuth MI. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren especially attending their sporting events. Dad will always be remembered for his kind and gentle heart. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jeannie and infant son. Charles is survived by his children Chuck Jr. (Kathy) Betsy (Ted) Cetnarowski and Nancy (Bill) Gardella; grandchildren Andrew Katie and Robert Brunn Tyler Emily and Regina Cetnarowski and Rachel Jessica and Jacob Gardella; brother Tom (Connie) Brunn and sister-in-law Anne Brunner and numerous nieces nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron on Wednesday February 20 2013 from 4-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls OH 44223. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Fr. McIntyre Education Fund. The family would like to thank the staff at Traditions for their care and kindness shown to our dad and family.
