Cathy Fogarty

Cathy Fogarty, 51, loving mother, daughter, and sister passed away Wednesday, September 18th 2019. Known for her friendly demeanor and empathy she will be missed by many. Her favorite thing to do was doing activities with her family, and spending quality time with them. Her family was the top priority of her life. She spent a lot of her childhood in Clinton, Ohio before making her way to Akron ultimately. She was incredibly hardworking and headstrong, advancing from a job as a secretary to salary work. Her example of love and compassion throughout her life will leave a lasting impact on everyone she's known. Cathy is survived by parents Cathy Chasar and Jim Breen; son Michael Fogarty; sister Rachel Clark; niece Felicia Meiser; brother James Breen; nephew Tommy Breen; nieces Elise and Emily Breen. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
