Carole A. Bowersox, age 93, passed away on August 23, 2026. She was born on February 8, 1933 in Geneva, Ohio to the late James and Lillian Lattimer. With loving hearts, we remember a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose life was filled with family, adventure and cherished memories.
She had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending time skiing and fishing. She also loved to travel with cruises being among her favorite ways to see the world and make lasting memories. She enjoyed quilting and gifting her quilts to her family. Carole was a longtime member of Copley United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 473. She worked in the cafeteria at Copley-Fairlawn Schools and during her retirement ran the Copley Outreach Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Dick and her three sons, Rick, Rob and Jeff.
She is survived by the daughter she never had, Pam; grandchildren, Justin, Michael and Sarah (Ryan) Gosorn; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Gigi, Lily and Olivia; daughter-in-law, Lynette and her best friend, Sally. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
