Brian Keith Bailey

Brian Keith Bailey died July 8th. 2026 in Akron. Ohio. He was the son of Wilma and Gene Bailey. Brian was born September 22,1958 and grew up in Copley, Ohio and attended the schools there.
In his youth and early years he had many jobs working in the trades industry. He could repair or fix just about anything. He worked for Gamauf Hardware and for the past 28 years was employed in public housing. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee. At times he displayed a gruff exterior but deep inside he was a kind, caring and loving individual who would offer his help in whatever way was needed.
He had been diagnosed with cancer ten years ago and survived after going through radiation and chemotherapy. He completed his treatment and was cancer free.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, his brother William Bailey, and his brother Craig Bailey. He is survived by his sister Jill Bailey Holmes, his niece Katie (Greg) Pickard and their children, his niece Joanna (Jake) Legere and their children, his nephew Michael Holmes, his nephew Scot (Danielle) Holmes, their children, and Gavin (Jenn) Pinto and son. His sister-in-law Lee Ann Bailey (his hero in helping him navigate technology). Finally, he is also survived by his best and longtime friend George Crabtree.
A graveside service will take place Saturday July 18, 2026 at 11am at Copley Cemetery located at 3770 Copley Rd. Copley, OH 44321.
