Brandon Charles Mick

Brandon Charles Mick, age 39, lost his battle with alcohol addiction on August 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 27, 1987 in Cumberland, Maryland to Charles and Joy Mick. Brandon was a 2006 graduate of Copley High School, where he made lifelong friends. He loved to skateboard and was a legend at Joe's Skate Park. He enjoyed punk rock music, video games and playing bass in bands.

Preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Mick; maternal grandparents, Homer and Margaret DeVaul and paternal grandparents, Charles W. Mick and Arlie Wortman; Brandon is survived by his loving mother, Joy Mick; sister, Alexi (Charlie) Mick Houle; fiance, Paula Good; his supportive aunts, Janet (Ric) Buntain and Jackie Mick and his faithful companion, Boyd.

Calling hours will be 4-6pm Tuesday, August 11, at the Hummel Funeral Home Copley Chapel, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, followed by a memorial service at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to One of A Kind Pet Rescue or the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center.
