Betty Wimer

Betty Jane Wimer (nee: Robart) lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 18 2009. Born in Akron a fourth generation Akronite Betty married her high school sweetheart Harry. They were married 70 years. He preceded her in death in 2005. Betty was a stay at home mother for her three children Linda (Bert) Joyce Richard (Patricia) Wimer and Carolyn (Danny) Heffelfinger. Betty enjoyed attending the many birthday parties for her 18 grandchildren. She was an avid bible reader and love traveling baking and gardening. Every day she recounted her blessings. She attended the Christian Science Church of Medina. The family would like to thank her four loving care givers at the residence and Kenny from Hospice.
