Betty Lee Bentley, 87, of Wadsworth peacefully went to her eternal home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Born in Lincoln County West Virginia to the late Goldie and Ossie Dial, Betty grew up and graduated from Chapmanville High School, as the class valedictorian, in 1953. She met her soul mate and best friend, Noah, in Stone Branch Holler, Logan County West Virginia, and they were married on New Year's Eve, 1953. After moving to Northeast Ohio, Betty raised four children and was a 60 year member of the North Royalton and Wadsworth Christian Churches; Disciples of Christ. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, and always loved to sing to her children. She loved caring for others and would spend time volunteering at a long term care facility and her church. Betty's greatest accomplishments live on in her four children, 8 grand-children, and 9 great grand-children.
Betty will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Noah J. Bentley Sr.; her four children Carole S. Waldron (Ray), Noah J. Bentley Jr. (Mary), LeeAnne Lambert, and William B. Bentley (Megan); sisters Molly Brown (Leonard), Ruby Nelson (Charles), and Mary Ramsey (Bill).
Betty is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Emil J. Dial, Charles Dial, and Carl E. Chapman (Joyce).
Services will be held at the Wadsworth First Christian Church, Monday April 25, 11:00; family and traveler lunch reception to follow. Internment, for immediate family, at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery at 1:45pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Betty's name to the Wadsworth First Christian Church; 116 E. Boyer St., Wadsworth Oh., 44281.
