Barbara Lute

Barbara J. Lute, age 86, passed away on March 8, 2021. She was born on August 20, 1934 in Akron to the late Russ and Erma Gearhart. Barb was an active member of the Mogadore Women of the Moose. She loved crafting, yard sales and time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lute; son, Russ Lute; granddaughter, Melissa Engelhart and son-in-law, Michael Engelhart; she is survived by children, Bob (Norma) Lute, Cathy Engelhart and Vicky (Ric) Vincent; daughter-in-law, Debbie Lute; brothers, Dennis (Joy) Gearhart and Richard Gearhart; grandchildren, Dawn (Marty) Whims, Michael (Vanessa) Engelhart, Emily (Justin) Jarvis, Nathan (Sydney) Engelhart, Kayleigh (Tony) Eddy, Margaret Lute and Beth Lute; and great grandchildren, Jacoby, Mckenna, Zachary, Hannah, Braden, Ryan, Anthony and Jadelyn.
Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Friday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio 44304, where calling hours will be one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
