Barbara Brennan

Barbara Anne Brennan (Meibohm) went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2025.

She married her soul mate, an Air Force Officer, William J Brennan, Jr. They had two daughters, Catherine (Riedel) and Patricia (Turski).

Upon William's death, Barbara moved to Copley, Ohio to be closer to family.

Barbara poured her heart into raising her daughters and being a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. She loved reading, the holidays, singing, and making every birthday a celebration. Barbara lit up every room she entered. People were drawn to her infectious personality, joy of life, and caring nature. Barbara was a natural born storyteller. Always taking time to chat and share stories of her upbringing, travels, and family.

Throughout their many moves, Barbara always found a way to give back through volunteer work. Being an avid reader, Barbara found a second home volunteering for 31 years for the Friends of the Upland Library. She also volunteered at Concordia at Sumner and Copley Music Boosters.

Barbara's legacy will survive in her two daughters, sister Joyce (Swinehart), brother John Meibohm, and granddaughters Anna and Emily Riedel.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13th at 1:15 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Barbara's name to "Friends of the Upland Library".
