Anthony McGinty

Anthony F. McGinty, Jr., age 96, passed away on July 6, 2025. He was the husband for 73 years of Anne Mae (Picha) McGinty (deceased); father of Daniel (Kim) McGinty, Kathleen McGinty and Maureen McGinty; grandfather of Kathryn (Derek) Kolbe, Megan (Brian) Fletcher, Stephanie McGinty and Emily McGinty; great grandfather of Quinton McGinty, Colson Kolbe, Cara Kolbe, Seneca Fletcher, Dakota Fletcher and Edward McGinty-Howard; brother of Noreen Kitko of Denver, CO and uncle of many, especially the Coyne family. Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Catherine (Calvey) McGinty; siblings, Marian Shuki, Kathleen Coyne, Eileen Hondlik, and Theresa McGinty.

Tony was a retired Lieutenant in the Cleveland Fire Department for 30 years. He loved golfing and was a hole-in-one golfer. Tony loved family, friends, firefighting and his Irish heritage.

The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale of Montrose and special caregiver Mary Lich.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Camp Christopher. Private family services will take place.
