Anne Embreus

Anne Marie Embreus, 60, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2024.

Anne was born on February 12, 1964 in Wadsworth, OH. A graduate of Akron's North High School, and longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls, she worked as a medical billing clerk for Business Medical Services Bureau for 25 years before retiring in 2022.

Anne devoted her life to raising her son and, later, watching her grandchildren grow. Anne's passion in life was to spend time with those closest to her. She enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, and "anything" involving her grandkids. There wasn't much she didn't enjoy, as long as she was surrounded by the people she loved. She will be remembered for her smiling eyes, short (but loveable) temper, and her need to always know what was going on with everybody.

She is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Donna Embreus.

She is survived by her son Brandon (Amanda) Embreus of Columbus; siblings Sharon Embreus of Cuyahoga Falls, Richard (Mary) Embreus of Clarksdale, AZ, Melinda (Dan) Holcomb of Fritch, TX, Frederic Embreus of Akron, Bernadette Dillon of Stow, Maria Lowther of Copley, Thomas (Wendy) Embreus of West Jordan, UT; 16 nieces and nephews; and grandchildren Charles, Michael and Lucille.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 11 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Hummel Funeral Home located at 3475 Copley Rd., Copley, OH 44321. Funeral mass will be held Friday, April 12 at 11:00 am at Visitation of Mary Church located at 55 Broad St., Akron, OH 44305.
