Anna Smith

Anna Smith was born Anna Lea Price was in Spencer, West Virginia on September 23, 1945 to Patrick and Bessie Price. She passed away January 1, 2021 at Barberton Summa Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was married to Billy Smith for 56 years. She resided in Kenmore for over 50 years, where she raised her family. She was employed at Parrassons in Barberton for 20 years.

Anna loved spending time with her family. When you showed up at her home you weren’t leaving until she fed you, she wouldn’t have it any other way. She would do anything she could to help anyone in need. Anna loved her flowers and her garden. She spent hours canning her bounty of vegetables every year. She will be forever missed and loved.

She is survived by her husband Billy Smith, her children Steve (Damita) Smith and family, Jimmy Smith, Teresa (Jim) Perry, Billy (Jenni) Smith. Her grandchildren James (Beth) Perry, Heather Perry, Hannah Grace Morris, great grandchildren Aiden and Madison Perry. Her best friend and sister Orva (Tom) Cross. Her sisters Mary Webb and Effie Nichols. She’s also survived by many nieces and nephews.
