Ann Duke

Our mom, Ann Duke, passed away on November 25, 2021. She was welcomed home by her father, Dr. Clinton Barrett her mother Gladys Barrett and her sister Patty Yoder. Her memory lives on with her sons, Andrew and Ben Duke, with her daughters Heather Hixson and Terrill Mervis. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Megan Duke, Joseph Duke, Olivia and Julia Hixson and Grace Mervis.
Mom has a deep compassion for others. She volunteered at the Discovery Shop and read for the blind on a weekly basis for a number of years. Her love for others will be remembered by her family and friends whom were a dear part of her life.
Mom loved the sun. Many wonderful hours were spent lounging by the pool while having political and philosophical conversations. We, her family, know that she waits for us as she strolls that far away beach.
As were her wishes, a celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
