Ann Biscan

Ann Biscan 88 of Akron Ohio died Feb. 27 2013 at Rose Lane Nursing Home. In younger years Ann was a hat maker and seamstress a skill and hobby she continued through life. She was an avid outdoorswoman who loved hiking birding camping water skiing and fishing. Ann hiked with the Metropolitan Park system since inception of the hiking sprees for well over 40 years. At one time Ann was president of the local Audubon chapter. She traveled to Cuba Bolivia Costa Rica and Panama birding and had acquired many 'life' sightings. After retirement Ann and George lived part time in Venice Florida. She was active in her retirement community and had many friends there. Family preceding Ann in death include her husband of 63 years George; siblings Dorthy Dawson and Sofi Rauzan. Ann is survived by siblings Helen Cernava Eli Rauzon; her children Don and Sue Biscan Marie and David Trowbridge; grandchildren Rebecca and Joey Bucksbarg Philip and Bambi Biscan and three great-grand children. Ann will be buried along with her husband George at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Rittman Ohio.
